  • A perfect gift for commemorating founding father John Adams, this white bust is a wonderful piece for decorating a home, office or library.

John Adams (1735-1826) became the second President of the United States (1797-1801) after serving two terms as Vice President under President George Washington. A delegate to the First and Second Continental Congresses, he helped draft the Declaration of Independence and ultimately negotiated the treaty that ended the American Revolution.

  • The Declaration of Independence is the nation's most cherished symbol of liberty. It was adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, announcing that the 13 American colonies, then at war with Great Britain, regarded themselves as independent states and no longer a part of the British Empire. Instead, they formed a union that would become a new nation, the United States of America.

The original Declaration is on permanent exhibit in the Rotunda at the National Archives Museum.

John Adams Bust

I purchased the bust as a Christmas gift for my best friend, who is collecting white busts of the historical characters in Hamilton. She was thrilled with it, because the only ones she had ever been able to find were bronze.
