United States Constitution Lanyard

  • National Archives Store Exclusive
  • Made in the U.S.A.
  • 17 1/2 inch woven lanyard
  • "We the People," beautifully engrossed by Jacob Shallus on the first page of the Constitution, has become a symbol of who we are as Americans. Depicted here on our lanyard it makes a great gift for history-loving patriots.

  • The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the United States of America. The Constitution originally consisted of seven Articles. The first three Articles embody the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislature, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the President; and the judiciary, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts.

THIS IS NO ORDINARY LANYARD

As I am with every item I buy from the NA store, I was beyond satisfied with this lanyard, as well as the one of the DOI (Dec. of Indep.) and the BOR (Bill of Rights). I have a lanyard collection of various designs, mostly pro sports teams, but these 3 from NA are a cut above all the others. No, TWO cuts above. They are extremely well made, with quality printing, and come with TWO of the most used types of clasps on the end. And these are not cheaply made clasps, they are well-constructed. With those, and the ring itself, you have 3 ways to connect something. They even come packaged in superior fashion, rolled and held with a very nice rubber ring, not a cheapie rubber band. I have each of these 3 lanyards hanging between my replica parchments of the DOI, BOR, and USC. I haven't decided what to attach to this one or the BOR, but I bought the "National Treasure" pendant on the leather strap and wound the strap around the lanyard with the pewter medallion hanging in front of the ring. Too bad there's no ability to add photos to this site, it is a very impressive display!
