Dated May 12, 1775, just two days after the daring capture of Fort Ticonderoga, the reproduction on this crinkled and creased parchment paper has a real feel to it, as if it had been hastily composed in the aftermath of battle. It makes a great learning tool for classrooms, especially to sharpen cursive reading skills. Beneath the reproduction of the letter is a typed transcript.
