  • Swing by with Franklin, wearing these unique golden earrings made from antique dimes. President Franklin Roosevelt’s outline has been intricately hand cut from an antique silver dime and hooked together with another cut dime to form a hanging loop that swings freely. In gold they make a classy pair.

  • The Roosevelt dime was released to the public on January 30, 1946, which would have been President Roosevelt’s birthday. The ten-cent coin was introduced less than a year after the President died, replacing the Mercury dime. Since its introduction, the dime has been minted every year, alhough not in silver since 1965. Unusual among currently circulating United States coins, the Roosevelt dime’s basic design has not changed.
