This petite embossed japonica candle comes in a custom glass container complete with a coordinating metal lid to keep the candle dust free when not in use and to extinguish the flame when lit. Filled with highly fragrant wax, this candle is perfect for small spaces or travel. From the citrus/fruity and floral scent family, Japanese plum blooms with notes of ripe plum, plum bloom petals, and leaves, and crushed currents combine with the gorgeous design of the packaging, taking inspiration from the fine art of Japanese paper-making. Reuse this elegant container for flowers or trinkets when the candle is gone.
With luxurious packaging and warm, alluring scents, these candles are a superb gift for a dear friend, a refined hostess, or a calming treat for yourself.
Made from clean burning coconut wax, which holds a high volume of perfume and doesn’t interfere with the true notes and character of the fragrance.
Spring in Washington celebrates the cherry trees and their beautiful pink and white flowers that bloom in late March. Every year, Cherry Blossom Festival performers put on a colorful show right in front of the National Archives steps. The majority of the trees are located near the Tidal Basin, where they are most popularly viewed. The Japanese cherry trees were a gift from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo City to the city of Washington on March 27, 1912. The National Archives holds many records related to the United States' relationship with Japan.
