Available in three beautiful colors, our lovely sakura T-shirts are pretty, eye-catching and very comfortable. The unique cherry blossom design is exclusive to us, and recognizes the enormous significance of Washington D.C.’s cherry blossoms to the nation’s capital. These tees make a gorgeous gift or a souvenir for yourself, and are truly unique to the National Archives Store.
Our soft and airy floral artwork with its strong geometric borders is inspired by two unmistakable icons of Washington, D.C. The Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates the trees that dramatically burst into bloom every spring and is an annual event that began in 1935, the year that the National Archives Building opened. The angular edging on our exclusive cherry blossom pieces comes from striking golden detailing inside the impressive Archives building.
